Email gone

Yesterday I realised I was missing some email from when I started working at VT. I asked support what was up and they revealed the horrific truth:

Matthew,

The current policy for IMAP is that your e-mail will be deleted after 32 
days with no recovery mechanism, unless you take action by using an e-mail 
client. If you would like to keep them saved, I would suggest making sure 
that your client saves a local copy of your messages to your computer as 
well.

It turns out it is longer than 32 days (at least for me). Basically at some point everything before November got cleared out and I have no way to get it back. Sucks to use IMAP at VT.
