iBook G4

As part of my work on the Darwin kernel I got Kirk to buy me an iBook G4 off of Ebay.

The iBook is interesting to me because it has an IBM PowerPC CPU in it rather than the Intel CPUs that modern Macs come with. The PowerPC is a RISC chip that can do DVFS. Back in the day their energy efficiency helped make the Apple laptops class leaders in battery life. Second hand is really the only way to get hold of them now.
