Recycle Bridge

Following my own naming convention I realized my portlet bridge needed a name which did not contain any technology references. So now the Recycle Bridge has been born (complete with logo). It allows JSR portals to consume web application which are not Java portlets themselves.

I have written authentication plugins for Mediawiki, Wordpress and the IADB. Which means you only have to login into your portal and you will automatically be authenticated with the application being consumed by the Recycle Bridge (you only have to log in once). The authentication information is shared using a cookie and security is provided by MD5.
