HPDC paper

I have spent the last month and a bit working on this paper, submission did not go smoothly though.

The paper itself (as always) nearly killed me. Thanks to Mark and Latex the process was made much easier. I thought all was well when I submitted the PDF yesterday (and went to bed).

Then this morning I got an email from the conference chair:

Please note that you submitted an abstract to HPDC-15, but not a
complete paper, so your submission
will not be reviewed. (The submission
site is closed now, there will be no deadline extension.)

After protesting my innocence (so to speak) a few emails later he said it was fixed:

I'm glad I can inform you that the problem with your paper has been solved, so it will be reviewed.
We use a commercial tool (with its own database and server software) for managing the
submissions. The file you uploaded indeed was on the server, but the software didn't show the
right links to them on the web interface of the program chairs. Fortunately, the company hosting
the database responded quickly to the problem. Nevertheless, I really have to apologize for this
inconvenience, which must have come as a very unpleasant surprise for you.

This particular submission engine did not email me anything. In the future I will be taking a screen shot when I submit to record all the evidence I would need should I have to do this again.
